.:Image Stretch Tutorial:.

Open Adobe Photoshop (my version is 7) and open the image you wish to stretch. I chose this picture from Boyis.

Next, press CTRL+A then CTRL+C. Click on file, and then click new. A box should now appear. My image's height was originally 300, so in the box for the height, I changed it to 400. There are three buttons at the bottom left of the box. Click on transparent (the last one).

Now, press CTRL+V and move your image to the very bottom of the page. Then select the skinny horizontal marquee tool (). To get that, go to your tool bar and click on the right corner on the sqaure marquee tool, and then a small list will popup, and select the horizontal one.

Click on where you want the image to stretch (in my case, I want the top to be). Press CTRL+T (short cut taught by Mystic ^^) and drag across the transparent area.

And you're done! Wasn't that simple? You can use this technique for layouts and other graphics. ^^ This is how mine turned out:

I hope this tutorial will help, and don't forget to link back. =) And please DO NOT copy/steal any of my tutorials either!!
